Walsh & Kelly Inc. will continue with the 2018 Spring Street projects in the City of Plymouth this week.
On Monday work will begin on Center Street from Monroe to Novelty.
Tuesday, May 1st Walnut Street from Monroe to Novelty will be milled and then on Wednesday, Walsh & Kelly will work on Hehr Street from Stanley to Oak Drive and at the Young Amphitheater in Centennial Park working on the drive and parking lot area.
Thursday, May 3rd Plymouth Goshen Trail from Michigan Street to the small bridge over the creek at Prices Memorial Pond will be milled. They will also do Hoosier Trail in Centennial Park from the Hoosier Old Wheels Pavilion, past the sledding hill to the tennis courts.
Walsh & Kelly is scheduled to work on Hope Boulevard and Council Drive on Friday, May 4th and on Saturday, May 5th Western Avenue from the US 30 overpass to Hoham Drive will be milled and work will begin on the Street Department parking lot.
Drivers are urged to avoid the areas where these street improvement projects are going on. If you must drive in the construction zones, reduce your speed and increase your attentiveness. Many areas will have flaggers to assist with traffic.
