Plymouth takes win over Warsaw
PLYMOUTH – Plymouth’s Rockies came from behind to take a home win on Saturday morning over Warsaw 33-18.
The game was a tale of two halves. The Tigers dominated the first half of play and put up 18 points entering halftime. As the second half began and on the very first play from scrimmage Joe Barron connected with Garrett Schrameyer for a 65 yard touchdown pass. Barron then threw a pass to Dylan Panzica for the 2-point conversion to make the score 15-18.
The Rockies scored 25 unanswered points to finish the game.
Leading the Rockies offensively were Barron who threw 2 touchdown passes to Schrameyer and two 2-point conversions to Panzica. Blake Davis scored twice in the game. Kam VanLue made all 4 of his attempts in the kicking game with a pair of field goals and extra points.
Defensivley, Zephan Nixon had an interception. Leading the defense in tackles were Tristen Sims and Blake Davis.
The JV Rockies move to 3-0 on their season and will face the Northridge Raiders in Middlebury on Saturday morning.
