Jim IrwinWTCA can confirm that James A. Irwin arrested about noon on Wednesday on prostitution and drug related charges is the same Jim Irwin that is the director of Care and Share of Marshall County.  Irwin has also serves the local community as the Salvation Army Extension director.

The Marshall County Drug Task Force arrested the 68 year old retired pastor at his home on Charles Street in Plymouth without incident.

Details are limited, but it is alleged there were multiple encounters related to the prostitution charges.

Irwin was booked into the Marshall County Jail at 3:50 Wednesday afternoon on charges of Promoting Prostitution, 2 count of Patronizing a Prostitute, Dealing a Schedule Substance and Dealing in a Substance Represented a a controlled Substance.  His cash bond was set at $60,000.
