DONALDSON, IN – Attucks High School graduate Teyon Scanlan is joining the Charger Men’s Basketball Team for the 2017-2018 season.

The 6’1’’ guard from Indianapolis was a member of the 2017 Class 3A State Championship team, and was the leading scorer in the championship game with 24 points.  Scanlan’s other accolades earned while playing for Coach Chris Hawkins include being selected to the North/South Indiana All-Star team, All-Indy Area team, and High Honorable Mention All-State.

“Teyon is a big-time competitor that comes from a winning program,” explains Ancilla Men’s Basketball Head Coach Aaron Butcher.  “He has a knack for hitting tough shots and can really defend on the other end of the court.”

The former Pioneer looks forward to continuing his career at Ancilla.  “I chose Ancilla because I felt it was a great fit, and a place that will really help me grow,” he remarks.

Scanlan is the son of Mitchell and Juanita Scanlan.
