MugShot_David ZacharyOn Tuesday, June 20th, at approximately 6:15 in the evening Sgt. Nicholas Laffoon with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was working interdiction on U.S. 30 near Plymouth Goshen Trail.

He observed a vehicle with an expired license plate and performed at traffic stop on this vehicle.  During the stop it was discovered that the driver of the vehicle, David S. Zachary age 45 of Grovertown, had aHabitual Traffic Violator conviction.  Mr. Zachary was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was lodged for Operating a Vehicle as a Habitual Traffic Violator-Life a level 5 felony.

The Indiana State Police assisted at the scene of the traffic stop.
