1st Source Bank has contributed $2,600 to Lincoln Junior High’s (LJH) Digital Storm Mass Media Program. The funds will assist with the purchase of studio equipment for LJH to provide students the opportunity to explore the ever-growing and ever-changing world of mass media through hands-on, real-world experiences.

1st Source Regional President Connie Lemler presented the contribution to students in the Digital Storm Mass Media Program. She was joined by 1st Source Business Banker Joe Hunting and Banking Center Manager Mindy Overmyer.

“At 1st Source Bank we recognize the importance of preparing students for the future,” said Lemler. “The Digital Storm Mass Media Program at Lincoln Junior High School does just that by teaching students technological and social skills that will be important in their future success. We are glad to be a part of this exciting program.”

LJH’s Digital Storm Mass Media Program introduces and develops students’ media literacy. Students actively write, produce, edit and report the pertinent and current issues facing students, community and the world through the vehicle of mass media.
