Last weekend’s snow provided the perfect backdrop for Miller’s Senior Living Holiday Open House and Festival of Trees this past Sunday. Many guests took part in voting for their favorite tree as well as enjoying music provided by Fred Walker of Baroda, Michigan.
Horse drawn sleigh rides seemed to be the highlight of the day. Saylor’s End of the Trail Stables of Walkerton provided the sleigh rides. After the ride hot drinks were available from the Coffee Lodge Coffee Cart of Plymouth.
Door Prize winners for the event were: Jane Griewank, Rich Hersick, and Marilyn Niswonger.
Festival of Tree winners were announced on Friday, Dec 16th. Tri Kappa received the most votes and was first place
while Argos LEO was awarded 2nd place and
a tie for third place between Boy Scout Troup 257 and
the Boys and Girls Club.
