hunter (530x640)DONALDSON, IN – Hunter Price, a 2016 graduate of Jimtown High School, recently signed his National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Letter of Intent to play tennis and golf at Ancilla College.

 

Price, was a four year varsity award letter recipient for both Tennis and Golf. He was named All-Conference in tennis, with 44 career wins. He was also a part of DECA, National Honor Society and was named to the Principal’s Honor Roll.

 

“Hunter has a great attitude, great sportsmanship and a desire to become better. He also possesses great leadership skills, which will help him be successful at Ancilla,” remarked Steve Fledderman, Price’s coach at Jimtown.

 

“We are excited to be adding Hunter to the tennis team at Ancilla,” said head Tennis coach Jessica Kutch. “I look forward to improving his tennis game further to the collegiate level. Hunter is a great player already, and he has a wonderful work ethic that will make a wonderful addition to the Charger family.”

 

“It is great adding Hunter to our golf team,” commented Ancilla Head Golf Coach Marc Green. “Hunter is already a very good golfer, and our hope is, with his work ethic, he will improve greatly. Hunter will be a good fit as he is a talented golfer and a great academic student.”

 

When asked why he felt Ancilla was the right choice for him, Price remarked, “I chose Ancilla because it is close to home and has great facilities.”

 

Hunter is the son of Tim and Season Price of Elkhart, IN.
