Plymouth went 2-3 in opening round play on Wednesday, with the doubles teams of 1D Caleb Bowling-Trey Delp and 2D Ryan Gadziola-Trenton Van Duyne winning their matches.
In second round play Thursday, Plymouth went 1-4, with 2S James Kruyer providing the only Pilgrim win.
Plymouth finished well in the final round Saturday, going 4-1 overall for the day. As for the Pilgrim singles players, 1S Martin Baca won his match to finish in 7th place, 2S James Kruyer lost his match (but competed much better than their regular season meeting) to finish in 6th place and 3S Maclean Miller won by default to finish in 7th place.
Both Pilgrim doubles duos won their matches to finish in 3rd place.
Plymouth avenged a straight set regular season loss to Concord’s 2D team, with Ryan Gadziola-Trenton Van Duyne winning Saturday by a 6-2, 6-2 score. 1D Caleb Bowling-Trey Delp beat a tough Warsaw 1D
team in a close three setter to end the day and Plymouth’s NLC Tourney on a positive note.
