Marvin “Ozzie” E. Osborn, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in Rochester, IN. Marvin was born to Jesse Lovell and Mary (Breadehoff) Osborn, Sr. on November 9, 1935 in Knox, IN.

Marvin was a long-time resident of Argos and Plymouth. He married Beverly Hartle on September 11, 1955 in Knox, IN and she preceded him in death on January 28, 1999. He then married Rosella Carol Hartle Bollhoefer on February 5, 2000 in Akron, IN. He attended Plymouth Community Church.  He retired from Chase leasing after 35 years of working on semi-trucks. He had also worked for Eley Sawmill of Argos and Central Transfer of Plymouth. He enjoyed rebuilding lawn mowers, helping build race cars, racing go-karts, and antique engines. He was a founder of Hoosier Old wheels, and a member of Fulton County Historical Power Association.

Marvin will be dearly missed by his wife, Rosella Osborn of Plymouth, IN; his daughters: Peggy (Ken) Rinkenberg of Goshen, IN; Mary (Tim) Pugh of Nappanee, IN; his son, Randy Osborn of Plymouth, IN; his stepchildren: Dennis (Andrea) Bollhoefer of Prescott Valley, AZ; Donna (Jeff) Runkle of Rochester, IN; Dianna Iles of Logansport, IN; Debra (David) Mathias of Akron, IN; Dan (Julie) Fox of Plymouth, IN.

19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; his sisters: Ilene (Paul) Van Cleave of Miles City, Montana; and Alice (Gerald) Winters of Fort Wayne, IN.

Marvin is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters: Glenda Conley; Rosemary Osborn; Luella Norris; and his brother, Lowell (Bud) Osborn; and a stepson-in-law.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563).

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563) with Pastor Rodney Briscoe and Pastor Kami Coffin presiding.

A graveside service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in Leiters Ford Cemetery (Leiters Ford, IN).

Memorial Donations may be made to Fulton County Museum (37 E 375 N, Rochester, IN 46975).
