Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 9-2 loss to New Prairie Cougars JV on Thursday.  New Prairie Cougars JV scored on a single by Thaddeus Lagodney, an error, and a double by Connor Tidwell in the first inning.

The Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims struggled to contain the high-powered offense of New Prairie Cougars JV, giving up nine runs.

New Prairie Cougars JV got things moving in the first inning, when Lagodney singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Dylan Bishop pitched New Prairie Cougars JV to victory. The righty went six innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out nine.  Sully Kress threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Malachi Sieh took the loss for Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims. The pitcher allowed 12 hits and nine runs over seven innings, striking out five and walking one.

Aiden Landis, Nick Manzuk, and Grady Metsker each collected one hit to lead Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims.

New Prairie Cougars JV totaled 12 hits in the game.  Colton Griffiths, #9, Tidwell, and Lagodney each racked up multiple hits for New Prairie Cougars JV.  Griffiths went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead New Prairie Cougars JV in hits.
