Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 21-18 loss to Goshen on Wednesday.  Goshen scored on an error and a single by #15 in the first inning.

Parker Wolfe collected four hits in defeat.  Wolfe singled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the fifth, and singled in the fifth.

Goshen got things started in the first inning when an error scored three runs for Goshen.

Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims notched nine runs in the third inning.  Wolfe, Michael Gibbons, Ryan Gadziola, Austin Price, Braxton White, and  Nick Manzuk all drove in runs in the frame.

#25 got the win for Goshen. The ace lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out three and walking one.  #3 threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

White took the loss for Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims. The bulldog lasted one inning, allowing zero hits and five runs.

#26 started the game for Goshen. The hurler went two innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out two Gadziola started the game for Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims. The righthander surrendered six runs on one hit over two-thirds of an inning, striking out two

Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims tallied 18 hits on the day.  Wolfe, Price, White, Tre Jordan, Manzuk, and Gibbons all collected multiple hits for Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims.  Wolfe went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims in hits.  Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Price led the way with two.

Goshen saw the ball well today, racking up 17 hits in the game.  #15, #16, #12, #30, #20, #3, and #25 each managed multiple hits for Goshen.
