Vicente Baca-Hernandez, 73, of Plymouth, Indiana, passed away on April 12, 2023, at 9:15 pm in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, Indiana.
On January 16, 1950, Vicente was born in Mexico to the late Jose and Ana (Hernandez) Baca. He was united in marriage in Mexico, to Margarita Romero, who survives. They have enjoyed 45 years of marriage.
Vicente worked for NISCO in Bremen for 20 years and worked in the Sunrise Orchard, Goshen. He enjoyed vegetable gardening and taking walks and was tight knit with his family, who was very important to him. He will be sorely missed by all who love him.
Vicente is also survived by two daughters; Maira A. Baca Romero and Nancy Baca Romero; five brothers, Ruben, Elias, Salvador, Fernando, Rafael, and Francisco Baca and four sisters; Imelda, Rosa, Josefina, and Eloina Baca. He is preceded by one brother, Francisco and two sisters, Margarita, and Guadalupe.
Visitation hours will be from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 20, 2023, in St. Michael Catholic Church, 612 N. Walnut Street, Plymouth, Indiana with a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm at the church, Father Fernando Jimenez officiating. Burial will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
