The Marshall County Commissioners will conduct their first meeting of the new year on Tuesday, January 3rd beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building. 

The agenda for the meeting includes the reorganization of the board with the election of officers.

County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters will report, and Jim Hulse wants to discuss a Tyner Fire Department bill.  County Attorney Jim Clevenger will give his report and the new County Auditor Angie Birchmeier will present the January claims for approval along with the minutes of the December 30th meeting. 

Under Commissioner Items, is the 2023 Board Appointments although the commissioners made all but one during their December 30th meeting.  There may be a discussion on the hiring process for a new HR Director.  They will also consider the attorney duties and compensation agreement for 2023. 

As normal, there is a time for public comment which is always welcome and encouraged.
