On Wednesday, November 11, the American Legion, VFW and DAV will again host a Veteran’s Day ceremony on the Marshall County Courthouse lawn. The program is scheduled to start at 11:00 am. This year, Assistant Police Chief Mark Owen will be the keynote speaker. Mark served with the United States Air Force from November 1988 until November 1992. He earned the rank of an E-4 Senior Airman as he served as a Security Police Specialist. Mark served in Texas, Louisiana, and Kunsan Korea.
