Bremen finishes first
BREMEN — The Bremen boys cross country team won its last home course race in pack running style by defeating Knox and Culver on Senior Night. Seniors Jacob Fish and Tyler Smith were in that pack of Lions.
Knox took off fast, but could not hold on to the second half surge that Bremen implemented. The boys finished with their top seven in the top 10 for the meet. Winning the meet was Aaron Douglass (19:01) with Seniors Jacob Fish (19:14) and Tyler Smith (19:28) finishing third and fifth.
Kody Zbieranski (21:17) and Sam Stiles (21:19) both finished with personal records while Jackson Gilmer (21:03) finished the night with a season’s best.
The Lions finish the regular season with 3 wins and 3 losses.
The boys next travel to Huntington University to run in the New Haven Invite.
