City HallThe City of Plymouth will conduct their regular meetings Monday evening, February 10th beginning at 6 with the Board of Public Works and Safety and the Common Council at 6:30.

Agenda for the Board of Public Works and Safety includes opening quotes for a new truck for the Street Department and Cemetery and patrol vehicles for the Police Department.

During the reports from department heads Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson will discuss using a Guaranteed Savings Contract for renovations to a digester.  Fire Chief Rod Miller is seeking a request for specialized training and the City Engineer, Rick Gaul will have a company interested in installing high-speed internet in the city’s right-of-way at the meeting for a discussion.

The City Attorney will present a resolution for write off delinquent and uncollectable water, wastewater, garbage and storm-water bills and the board will approve the claims.

The Common Council meeting at 6:30 consider a resolution to declare certain real estate to be within an Economic Revitalization Area (ERA) for Zentis North America as the first step in the tax abatement process.

The City Council will get an update on the Stellar Communities and offer anyone participating the opportunity to make comments or ask questions on agenda items.

The city meeting is held in the Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall.  Anyone attending should enter through the Garro Street door and take the stairs of elevator to the second floor.
