Brown Bag Kurt Garner ChristmasDon’t miss the last Marshall County Museum Brown Bag program of the season, Battle of the Bulge: A 75th Anniversary Story of a Local Soldier,” on Friday, December 13 at Noon.  Hosted and researched by Kurt Garner, he will focus on a local soldier’s story of service during the Battle of the Bulge in observation of its 75th anniversary.

Harold Bryant of Culver was drafted and served during the battle that was considered Hitler’s last stand. Occurring during the winter months of 1944, the story will have a rather poignant Christmas theme. Collector of military artifacts, Greg Champion, has set up a mock bunker to depict the conditions of the war at that time.

This Christmas program will be a very touching start to your Christmas season. Members of the Lincoln Jr. High Band will be performing Christmas music from 11:15 – 11:45 before the program, so come early and enjoy the Christmas decorations, music and special Battle of the Bulge exhibit designed by local military collector, Greg Champion!
