Lincoln eighth takes win at Urey
WALKERTON – Lincoln eighth grade basketball team traveled to Walkerton to play a talented Urey team. Lincoln’s A team came out on fire, knocking down four three pointers in the first quarter powering them to a 40-30 win.
Leading the team were Skyler Ganshorn with 17 points, Coby Walters with 10 points and Caleb Bowling with seven points. Alan Cantero added outstanding defense and multiple steals down the stretch to help seal the game.
Lincoln’s B Team battled to another win defeating Urey 45-29.
Team defense in the second quarter and a 16 point offensive explosion in the fourth quarter powered the team to an easy win. Leading scorers were Seth Wright with 13 points and Payton Bonebreak with 12 points.
