road_workJason Peters, Superintendent of the County Highway Department told WTCA Thursday afternoon that construction on a tile started this morning on 9B Road west of Union.

After talking with the contractors, the construction crew will work with people trying to get to Ancilla without making major changes to routes in and out. He said signs are posted and if you must travel this section of road please drive with caution.

All emergency vehicles will be able to pass through if needed.

Peters urged all personal going to Ancilla College to travel an alternative route as it would be helpful to the contractor.  He noted those coming from Starke County and driving 9B will be the most inconvenient.

This construction project should be completed by October 29 or 30 weather permitting.
