road_workRieth-Riley Construction Company from South Bend was awarded the Community Crossings projects for the City of Plymouth.

There are three city street projects and three locations in Centennial Park that will be pave in the weeks to come.

Work is not scheduled to begin on Third between Lake Avenue and Jefferson Street on Thursday, October 24th. Next week on Monday, October 28th Rieth-Riley begin work on Washington Street from Third Street to Plum Street and on Tuesday, October 29th work will begin on William Street between South Michigan and Liberty Street.

Road work in Centennial Park will begin on Saturday, November 2nd.  Rieth-Riley will be milling and filling Becknell Drive which is the street where the covered bridge is.  Chuck Glaub Drive will also be improved.  It is the road in front of Nixon Field and a B-League Diamond.  The final project in Centennial Park is entrance to the Horse Barn.

Rieth-Riley asks residents not to park on the streets when work is scheduled on their streets.  They also ask driver and walkers to avoid the areas but if they must be in the area, use caution.
