Plymouth Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson gave members of the Board of Public Works and Safety an update on the painting of the North Water Tower on Parkview Street.
The project is substantially complete. Davidson said all coatings and graphics have been completed. He said there are still some punch-list items such as some ground restoration and connecting the cathartic protection that will be completed in the next two weeks.
The project includes a one-year warranty with a two-year performance bond.
Davidson said the project went very smooth and there were only a couple of vehicles that did receive a bit of overspray on them. The contractor’s insurance company is handling that issue.
Fedewa, Inc. of Hasting, Mi was awarded the project by being the low bidder at $219,740.
