Tim Doud

Tuesday evening the Plymouth Plan Commission approved the re-plat request of Tim Doud at 12236 Amber Court and Duane Mattix at 12573 Hillside Drive in the fourth section of the Oak Crest Subdivision south of Plymouth.

Planning Consultant Ralph Booker said the re-plat request will allow Mr. Doud to access the lot he purchased by having the two lots meet at the back of his property.  Doud told the commission he plans to build a 40 x 60 out building on the new lot.

DoudThe city plan commission approved the request by a 9 to 1 vote with member Mark Gidley voting against the request.

Relos_1The City Plan Commission also voted to send a favorable recommendation to the Plymouth City Council on the re-zoning request of Kristina and Mary Relos at 15959 7th Road in the two-mile zone.

Relos_2While applying for a mortgage Kristina was told the lender won’t approve it due to the fact that the property is zoned Industrial.  While Relos did received a variance to build a residence on the property the lender is fearful that an industrial building could be constructed next door to the home and devalue it.

The Plymouth Plan Commission unanimously supported the change in zoning.  The request will move forward to the Plymouth City Council for final approval.
