Plymouth Community School Corporation Superintendent, Andy Hartley told members of the school board the current enrollment is 3,430 compared with 3,469 at this time last year.
The official count by the state that ultimately factors into state funding is completed in September of each year. Although the state had eliminated a second count for some years, a second count will be done in February.
Hartley partially attributed the decrease of 39 students in part to the large graduating class of 2019. He said, “However, we are slightly ahead in projected revenue.”
