Bremen teams at top of New Haven field
NEW HAVEN – Bremen’s cross country teams came home with a pair of top-ten finishes at the New Haven Classic.
The Bremen Boys proved pack running makes a difference with just 28 seconds between the top 5 runners to secure second place in the Class A race at New Haven.
Bringing home medals for Bremen were: Bobby Simons (18), Aaron Young (21), Tyler Smith (22) and Jacob Fish (30).
Aaron Young had the only personal record for the day with a time of (18:06), but there were multiple seasons best for the day: Seth Young, Bobby Simons, Kenny Hilgendorf, Tyler Smith, Jacob Fish, Tyler Schmeltz, Caiden Newman, Kody Zbieranski, Sam Stiles and Keegan Miller.
The Lady Lions Cross Country team placed 8th in a field of 21 teams in the Class A race at New Haven.
Bringing home Medals for Bremen were Courtney Lawmaster (15) and Rachel Hall (18).
Both teams race Saturday at Oxbow for the NIC conference meet.
