Plymouth gets win over West Noble
DUNLAP — The Plymouth Lady Pilgrim Varsity Volleyball team participated in the Concord tournament Saturday. The Pilgrims went 1-2 during the tournament.
They started the day matching up against Northwood again, a team they just lost to on Thursday. The Pilgrims fell again 2-0 losing 24-26, 20-25. They played New Prairie in their next contest, a team they beat earlier this year in the Powerball Tourney. They lost to the Lady Cougars this time 17-22, 22-25. Their lone win came against West Noble 2-1. Game scores were 24-26, 25-11, and 15-11.
Leaders in individual stats were Madison Figg and Miranda German in kills and Alaina Clady and Chloe Holten in blocks. Kenzie Snyder and German lead in digs while Clare Sheedy and Avery Christy led in assists. Ace serve leaders were German and Sheedy.
The 1-2 results on the day leaves the Pilgrims at 9-7 on the year. Next up the girls travel to Warsaw on Thursday. Start time is set for 5 — 30 p.m.
