#6 Lady Dragons shut out Rochester

ROCHESTER — The Argos Lady Dragons were on the road again as they played the Rochester Lady Zebras coming out with a shut out win 4-0.
Argos was quick to the punch scoring off of a shot by Lizzy Edmonds in the 11th minute, making it a 1-0 game.
Argos was quick to put the pressure back on Rochester scoring again in the 17th minute where Morgan Dunlap sent a ball up to Madisyn Barcus who placed it in the back of the net to propel Argos to a 2-0 lead.
Ball possession was the story of the second half as both teams would battle to maintain the advantage. In the 57th minute Argos would net their third goal of the game from Morgan Dunlap off of a penalty kick.
Aryanna Allen would go on to assist Kagnie Hoffman to send the Dragons out on a high note in the 78th minute just before the final buzzer was able to sound.
The Dragons lead with 6 shots on frame in comparison to the Zebras 1.
The Lady Dragons advance to a 7-3 record on the season and will play at home on Thursday against LaVille with a 6:30 p.m. start.
