LAKEVILLE — The varsity volleyball team lost a hard-fought 3-set thriller to Hoosier North Athletic Conference foe Pioneer.
Olivia Goze and Haley Ross led the net attack with six kills each. Rebekah Beehler led the service game with four aces, while Allison Medors added three aces and led the defense with 15 digs. Natalie Gonzalez chipped in with 14 digs.
Sydney Coblentz led a balanced setter attack with six assists. Alaina Kertai had five and Jaidyn Medina four.
LaVille (4-9) will travel to South Bend Clay Sept. 12. The JV match is scheduled to serve up at 6 p.m.
