This week, Plymouth’s Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson told members of the Board of Public Works and Safety the Candy Lane storm sewer project is about to get underway.

Monday evening Davidson said the barricades are up to keep through-traffic out of the work zone and Selge Construction is starting to mobilize equipment on site.  He said the project is going to move forward with pavement removal and excavating to begin this week.

While the Candy Lane sewer project will fix a flooding problem in the area that has been an issue for several year, the project will involve Candy Lane and cross Lincolnway East and head down Ferndale Street.

Davidson has been working on this project for several years.
