MugShot_andrew meloyThursday evening about 6:30, Plymouth Police were dispatched to the area of North Michigan Street and Harrison Street for a report of shots fired.

City officers arriving on the scene heard additional shots being fired from the back of 823 North Michigan Street.  City Police set up a perimeter around the residence, along with the assistance of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana State Police.

Contact was made with the suspect and he agreed to exit the residence and surrender.  29 year old Andrew Neal Meloy of the Michigan Street address was detained without resistance and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

Meloy was booked into the jail for Criminal Recklessness with a Firearm, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Narcotics and Possession of Paraphernalia.  He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
