Miller's_SeniorLiving_Riverside January 2019 Norma MontgomeryThe Riverside Intermediate School 5th grade Super Troopers visited at Miller’s Assisted Living Facility on Wednesday, January 16th.  The students use this time to develop conversational and communication skills with older adults.  The students break into small groups and play cards, Jenga or read to a resident all the while conversing about what life was like when they went to school.  It is a very rewarding experience for the students and the adults alike!  This is the second year for the Riverside Intermediate School and Miller’s Assisted Living connection and it is proving to be a huge success.
