WRMRH_LogoJoin WTCA this week when The Yellow-Bellied Sapsuckers arrive all the way from Soldier’s Grove, Wisconsin, to share some early American roots music on the Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour.  Nikki and Joe have two critically acclaimed albums and will be talking about their musical influences, filling us in on the Kickapoo River, and sharing four original songs from their repertoire. The music is fun, infectious, camp, sincerely delivered, and poignant.

Also on the docket will be local songwriter, Doug Hammond, who will share his song, Scarecrow, based on The Wizard of Oz.

Kicking off the program will be Goshen’s own, Hannah Livengood, as announcer, and your host, George Schricker,  plus the ever-enlightening,  Shoot the Moon,  Radio Quiz Show, where we’ll learn about the music of Lydia Mendoza, the fame of Soldier’s Grove Wisconsin, and the dos and don’ts of Vaudeville.
