Members of the Plymouth Common Council heard first reading of an ordinance setting salaries for appointed officer and employees along with fire and police personnel during their meeting Monday.
Mayor Mark Senter said his proposal is for a 2% across the board raise next year.
City Clerk Treasurer Jeanine Xaver said there were a couple variances, Airport Manager Bill Sheley is seeking a higher raise for his assistant while the other change is in the Police Department where Chief Dave Bacon is asking to change the title of the detective.
