Marshall County Police investigated an alleged battery Sunday evening just before 9.
County Police and LaPaz EMS were dispatched to 3408 West Shore Drive, Ruperts Resort for a male subject who was discovered lying face down in the grass and bleeding.
Officers arrived on scene and learned that the male subject had been severely battered.
The unnamed subject was later transported from the scene to Memorial Hospital in South Bend by LaPaz EMS for treatment.
Marshall County Police are still actively investigating this incident and are asking for anyone with information to please contact the Sheriff`s Department at 574-936-3187.
