Marshall County REMC sponsored four local students on the Indiana Youth Tour to Washington, D.C., this June. Youth Tour provides young Hoosiers the opportunity to visit the nation’s capital, learn about government, experience American history and gain a better understanding about their electric cooperative and government.
Students visited the Flight 93 Memorial, Gettysburg Battlefield, Arlington National Cemetery, the Smithsonian museums, the National Mall memorials, and the National Museum of Marine Corps. They also took a night cruise on the Potomac River among other highlights!
Shannon Master from Argos, Helen Lemler from Bourbon, Rachel Bockman and Catherine Neese from Plymouth represented Marshall County REMC on the 2018 Indiana Youth Tour to Washington, D.C.
