Marshall County Central Dispatch was advised of a single vehicle motorcycle collision on U.S. 31 near the 230 mile marker Saturday, July 14th at 5:40 p.m.
Sgt. Nick Laffoon arrived at the scene and found that 37 year old Jeremy C. Lechlitner of Elkhart had been driving his 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle with a group of motorcycles
north on U.S. 31.
Lechlitner told Sgt. Laffoon he swerved for a motorcycle in the group that was slowing and ran off of the roadway into the grass median.
He was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The Marshall County Police Department was assisted by LaPaz fire and EMS at the scene of the collision.
