City NEwsThe Plymouth Plaza on North Michigan Street is in the process of being sold and Tuesday evening members of the city’s Plan Commission approved a replat of the property which will allow Burger King to purchase the northern lot where their drive-up ordering lanes are located.

City Plan Consultant, Ralph Booker said the entire shopping center is divided up into several lots.  The proposal would combine all the lots together into one parcel except for the lot currently owned by Burger King and the northern lot they are leasing from the shopping center.

Scott Kure said Burger King has been in the shopping center for 30 years and the Kure family has been operating the shopping center for 50 years.

The re-plat of lots 2 and parts of lots 3, 4, 5, and 6 was approved by a 7-0 vote of the Plymouth Plan Commission.
