The Marshall County Board of Commissioners, after consulting with the Marshall County Highway Supervisor, have determined that conditions have improved enough to lower the “Watch” level down to an “Advisory ” level travel advisory.
The lowest level of local travel advisory, an “Advisory” level means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.
Marshall County still has some roads that remain closed or that are marked as having High Water. Closed roads include 1C between Thorn and Union, Maple Road from 5A to 4A; 7th Road from Hickory to Ironwood and Birch Road from 20th Road to State Road 25. High water roads include 1st Road from Oak Road to Michigan Road and at the intersection of 15th Road and Hickory Road.
