Early Christmas morning Marshall County Police responded to a vehicle that slid off the roadway on US 31 and 9A Road.
About 3 a.m. Officer Les McFarland investigated the incident and found 33 year old Jose Obando Salgado of South Bend in the vehicle. It was suspected that he was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. He was transported to the Plymouth Hospital for a chemical test and then arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail for Operating While Intoxicated and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
