Reluctantly the Marshall County Commissioners accepted the resignation letter from Laurie Baker, Administrative Manager for the County Highway Department.
Baker started with Marshall County 11 years ago on Monday in Superior Court II with Judge Dean Colvin. In July 2014 Baker transferred to the County Highway Department. Her resignation is effective December 29th.
Baker told the commissioners she has seen her last northern Indiana winter as she is moving south. She said, “It’s been a good run. I’m not unhappy with what we’ve accomplished.”
