MugShot_Rex HammondOn Tuesday October 31, at approximately 1:2O in the morning Officer Brouyette with the Marshall County Sheriff`s Department was working his assigned shift when he observed a light blue Chrysler Concord passenger car bearing Indiana license plate “518PG”, traveling north on
Michigan Road. The vehicle turned right on Veterans Parkway and began traveling east when the officer observed the vehicle commit moving traffic violations.

The officer engaged his lights for a traffic stop and the vehicle pulled over.   The vehicle was occupied by two subjects, the driver, 54 year old  Rex Hammond of Elkhart and 19 yaer old Alexandra Latendresse of Elkhart.

Hammond was in possession of methamphetamine and a firearm while Latendresse was found to be in possession of paraphernalia.

Both were arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

Rex Hammond was booked on preliminary charges of: Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 4 Felony), Possession of a Firearm by Serious Felon (Level 4 Felony) along with traffic infraction violations. Rex Hammond was held with No Bond.

MugShot_Alexandra LatendrosseAlexandra Latendresse was booked on preliminary charges of: Possession of Paraphernalia (Class A Misdemeanor) and held on $1500.00 Bond.
