Bremen girls earn second place at NIC tourney
SOUTH BEND – The NIC held its annual Junior Varsity Tournament at Erskine Golf Course in South Bend hosted by Adams High School.
Seven JV squads participated in the event with Elkhart Central A Squad coming in 1st at 206. The second Elkhart Central B squad came in 5th with a 244. Adams also entered two squads placing 3rd at 220, and 7th with a 262.
The Lady Lions played some of their best golf of the season and came in second with a 215. Individual Scores for Bremen were: Kailey Simmons 46, Alayna Ross 52, Ally Taylor 53, Krystal Gallegos 64, and Grace Mikel 68.
Kailey’s score was second overall and earned her the 2nd Place Finish Trophy.
