Local teams compete at New Prairie Classic
NEW CARLISLE – Bremen’s Girls took home first place at the New Prairie Kickoff Cross Country Classic while Bremen’s boys team placed fourth in a field of eight. Glenn had an eighth place boys finish. .
Finishing first for Bremen and fifth overall was Katie Barnes with a time of 21:54. The girls had 7 season’s best and two personal records. Natalie Gutierrez brought home her third personal record for the year with a time of 24:23. Giselle Jimenez finished with a PR of 25:53.
Top finisher for Bremen’s boys was Tyler Smith tying his season’s best with a time of 18:43. Bremen’s boys had 5 season’s best for the day. Three boys had personal records for the day with Clayton Young (19:13), Seth Young (19:11) and Kenny Hilgendorf (19:41).
Glenn’s Jack Hochstetler led the Falcons boys finishers. He was followed closely by Mason Ross, Andrew Peterson, and Adam Martin.
The Falcon girls were led by McKenzie Hudgen led the Falcons with a 2nd place finish overall.
