Lincoln’s 8 th grade volleyball team fell to the home team,
Wawasee Warriors, in their 1 st match of the season by a score
of 22-25, 16-25. The Red Storm started strong in Game 1 with
an 8-0 run off the serving of Clare Sheedy, including 4 aces.
Sheedy also led the team in setting with 3 assists. Chloe Holten
led the team in hitting with 2 kills & 3 blocks at the net. Sara
Hunter and Corinne Rhodes led the team in passing & defense.
In game 2, Kami Burkett added 2 aces. The Red Storm (0-1)
will be back in action on Saturday at Warsaw High School for
the Edgewood Invitational.
