WARSAW – The 8th Grade Lincoln Red Storm football team travelled to Warsaw – Lakeview Middle school on Tuesday taking away a 27-6 win.
The first quarter was all defense from both teams as they both came away scoreless.
Zach Masterson threw a second quarter TD pass to Lennon Creighbaum who ran it in for 6 points to start the Lincoln scoring. Later in the quarter Masterson completed an 18-yard pass to Zack Truitt to put the Red Storm in the Red Zone. Seconds later Masterson scored a touchdown and the extra points on a quarter back keeper
Lincoln put up six more before half on a pass from Masterson to Devante Garcia with 18 seconds left in the half.
Seth Mills pulled down two interceptions and Peyton Daley scored a TD for Lincoln.
The Red Storm will play on the new turf field at The Rockpile against Bremen next Tuesday.
