DONALDSON, IN – Irelynd Fornelli, a graduate of Knox High School, has committed to Charger Women’s Basketball.
Fornelli comes to the Ancilla team as a point guard and shooting guard. Besides playing basketball, she also ran track for four years and was Captain of the Track team. She was also very involved in other activities, serving as Senior Class President, FCA Student Leader, and 4H President.
“We are excited to have Irelynd join our team,” says Ancilla Head Women’s Basketball Coach Tom Robbins. “She is a hard worker and will bring a positive attitude to our program.
“Ancilla was the right choice for me because it’s close to home,” Fornelli explains. “And my mom also attended here for a while.” Fornelli plans to study nursing this fall.
