Highlights:
It was a up and down battle for the Lady Pilgrims all night against Elkhart Memorial. The Chargers got out to a 3-0 lead early in the first inning. Going into the bottom half of the third inning the Lady Pilgrims had cut the lead down to 1 run by a score of 6-5 in favor of the Chargers. But the Lady Pilgrims just couldn’t shut the door on the Chargers as they fell 11-7 in the NLC contest. Offensive leaders for the Lady Pilgrims were Summer Smith as she went 2-3 at the plate including a single, double, 4 RBI’s, 2 Runs, and a walk. Audrey Himes also had a Double and added 2 RBI’s as well. The Lady Pilgrims will fall to 4-12 on the season and 0-7 in conference play. The Lady Pilgrims will play host to Concord, Friday night at Centennial Park for a 5:30 Start time.
