The Red Storm Jr High golfers hosted the visiting Tigers from Warsaw on Wednesday night. Both Edgewood and Lakeview fielded full boys teams and only Edgewood brought a full girls team to Pretty Lake Golf Club. Lincoln’s boys crushed their rivals, earning two big wins on the night to take their record to 4-0 on the season. The 175 shot by the boys was 20 shots less than their last match at PLGC last week. Edgewood posted a score of 205, while Lakeview scored a 196 in defeat. Medalist honors went to Callen Hoskins of Edgewood with a 37, while Lincoln had 3 of the top 4 scorers, led by Daniel Bacon’s 40 and Jake Reichard’s 42, respectively.
The girls dropped their third match of the season, losing to Edgewood 259-271, with Lakeview posting no score. Medalists for the girls were Delany Byron and Anna Morgan, both from Edgewood, with 62’s. Leading the way for the Red Storm were Annastasia Hutchings with 65 and Grace Hinderlider with a 66.
