Highlights:  The JV Pilgrim’s fell behind early giving up 5 runs in the first 2 innings.  Despite eleven hits from 7 different players, the Pilgrims struggled to convert them into runs.   Megan Kersey hit a triple and Jena Downs and Sydney Richer executed a perfect run-down on defense to stall the Eagle’s offense.  Josie Koontz was at the mound the whole game with 3 strike-out for the Pilgrims.  The loss brings the JV Pilgrim’s record to 4-7 on the year.  They are looking for a win tomorrow Friday April 28th, when they play against Northwood, away.  Game starts at 5:00.
