The young lady pilgrims suffered their second loss of the season to Wawasse Thursday night, snapping there 6 game winning streak 30-38.

Playing from behind through all of the contest, the lady pilgrims defense struggled with  the strong guard play of the lady warriors, giving up a season high 38.

The whistle didn’t go there way either. The Warriors made it to the charity strip 20 times, converting 11.  Plymouth shot 5, making 2.

The Freshman trio of Beatty, Holiday, & Owen tallied 8 points each, with Kristen Brown chipping in 4.  Kate Renneker continued her strong 6th man play, by adding 2.

Loren Mattern kept the Pilgrims close by creating 8 Warrior turnovers on her own.  The team will regroup for next Saturday’sNLC Championship, facing Warsaw in the first round.

Winner will play the same Warriors, or the Northridge Raiders.  First games at the Wigwam in Wawasee start at 9am.
